Instructor Biography

Daniel Felperin, Founder and Director of Operations of FRESH Training Concepts (originally established in 1989) is headquartered in Lake County, California. Dan is a certified industrial hygienist (CIH) and certified safety professional (CSP). He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from California State University at Northridge (CSUN) and has over twenty eight years of hands-on professional experience solving problems in the areas of worker and environmental health and safety (OSHA, EPA, and DOT) as well as developing and delivering customized training programs for business and government. Dan is committed to inspiring people to think out-of-the-box with respect to solving workplace health and safety issues while preserving the environment using sustainable eco-friendly technologies (e.g. waste minimization, recycling). His training style emphasizes a bias for action, accountability for outcomes, leadership qualities, and empowering employees to take responsibility for their personal development.

More recently, Dan has expanded the company’s breadth and scope of the original business mission. FRESH Energy Systems, LLC was formed in 2007 to advocate, educate and demonstrate real economic and societal benefits of renewable and sustainable community. With over sixty renewable energy projects completed in Lake, Napa and Sonoma counties since 2001, FES designs, integrates, manages, installs and commissions projects that use state-of-the-art energy efficiency combinations as well as renewable (passive and active) solar technologies to produce energy (+) independent homes and buildings. In 2009, FES launched the ‘Community-Enterprise-Zone.com’ (CEZ) which consists of an annual subscription to a rapidly evolving ‘one-stop cyber shop’ devoted to “Buying, Bartering and Selling” green and eco-friendly goods, products and services at the most competitive pricing for the growing community of subscribers.
