About Us

FRESH Energy Systems was established in 2001 to help homeowners and businesses become energy independent over time starting with grid-tied photovoltaics (net metering). Technologies such as Smart devices, robotics, and electric vehicles are now coming to fruition. The time is upon us where ‘We the People’ can now take personal control and assume responsibility for our own energy security by producing clean, renewable power for our own use and transportation (while storing the excess for emergencies and optimal load management). The FRESH Mission Statement and Company Goals hopefully embody and reflect these important, socially-responsible business priorities.

A few words from Dan

“I can remember as a teenager finally getting my driver’s license and then having to wait in long gasoline lines sometimes for well over an hour in the early 1970’s right after the first OPEC oil embargo (gas rationing took place on alternating days based on the last [even/odd] number on your license plate). I thought to myself: ‘how limited and short-sighted our national energy policy was and how vulnerable our citizenry were to energy supply fluctuations including scarcity’. That bothered and worried me. Still does.
Since that time, I decided to focus and direct my personal, professional and business efforts towards creating, developing, influencing and providing sustainable approaches, work practices (examples and models); as well as presenting relevant educational programs to inform and empower individuals that want to take action!
